Bruker Dimension FastScan Scanning Probe Microscope

Bruker Dimension FastScan Scanning Probe Microscope

Dimension FastScan is fitted with two scan heads:

  1. Standard scan: Icon XYZ Closed-Loop Application Module-ready Scan Head, with a nominal range of 90μm x 90μm and vertical range of 10μm closed-loop operation, is enabled with thermally compensating sensors in its X, Y, and Z-axis for high accuracy/precision for imaging, positioning, zooming, optional nanomanipulation and nanolithography. Standard operating modes/techniques include ScanAsyst, TappingMode (air), Contact, Lateral Force, PhaseImaging, Nanomechanical Mapping, Torsional Resonance, Lift, Dark-lift, Force Volume, Force Spectroscopy, Surface Potential, Piezo Response, EFM and MFM.
  2. FastScan XYZ Closed-Loop Scan Head, with a nominal X-Y range of 35μm x 35μm and vertical range of >3μm closed-loop operation, is enabled with thermally compensating sensors in its X, Y, and Z-axis for the highest accuracy/precision for imaging, positioning, and zooming. Scanner design permits air or fluid operation capability to scan at rates exceeding 125Hz in air without scanner ringing. Standard operating modes include ScanAsyst, Nanomechanical Mapping, TappingMode (air and fluid), PhaseImaging, Contact, Lateral Force, Lift, MFM, EFM, Force Spectroscopy and Force Volume.

Additional options – Contact Resonance, DarkLift, FastScanBIO, KPFM, NanoIndent, NanoScope Realtime, PeakForce QNM, Recipes.
